From simple drop-off to premium, fully staffed receptions on the Mornington Peninsula and Greater Melbourne — because sharing a meal is one of the most comforting ways to honour a loved one.
After the service
After a funeral service, coming together over food gives family and friends a quiet space to share stories, find comfort, and simply be together. It doesn't need to be complicated — what matters is that it feels right.
We work with a local Mornington Peninsula caterer who understands the setting. Whether it's a relaxed finger food reception or something more tailored to honour your loved one's style, we can arrange whatever feels right. From simple drop-off service through to a full chef and staffed reception, we handle every detail so you don't have to think about it during an already difficult week.
We've created four clear packages so you can see exactly what's included and what it costs — no surprises, no hidden fees.

What families ask us
Most families haven't organised funeral catering before, and the questions we hear most often are practical ones. Here's what we've learned from helping hundreds of families on the Mornington Peninsula.
Around 10 finger food items per person is equivalent to a main meal — it's genuinely filling, not just nibbles. Our packages are built around this, so even the Essentials gives each guest a satisfying amount of food. If you're unsure, we'd rather you have a little too much than not enough — and any leftover food is boxed up for you to take home, so nothing goes to waste. We can always adjust numbers closer to the day.
It's a big day, and you deserve to be present in it — not worrying about when to put food out, whether the tea station needs refilling, or who's cleaning up afterwards. Having staff means someone else takes care of all of that: setup, styling, timing of when to serve, replenishment, and packdown at the end. You can sit back and be in the moment with your family and friends, knowing everything is being looked after. Our Signature and Premium packages always include full staffing and styling.
Our caterer works across the Mornington Peninsula and Greater Melbourne — from chapel function rooms and community halls to private homes, gardens, wineries, and golf clubs. If your venue is more than 50km from Frankston, a small travel fee may apply, but we can cater almost anywhere you choose to gather.
All menus can be adjusted for dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergen-specific requests. Just let us know during your arrangement meeting and we'll make sure everyone is looked after. The sample menus shown here are examples; your actual menu may vary with seasonal availability.
Our caterer doesn't just drop food on a table. For staffed packages, tables are styled with foraged greenery from the venue surroundings — eucalyptus branches, coastal tea tree, wattle — creating a natural, warm feel that's uniquely Australian. At higher tiers, wooden crates create height and visual interest, and candles add warmth. It's a small detail, but families notice.
Whether it's a simple spread or a fully catered reception, we're here to make sure the gathering after the service is one less thing you need to worry about.
All our catering uses locally sourced ingredients, avoids single-use plastics where possible, and is styled with foraged native greenery rather than imported decorations — because caring for the environment is part of how we care for families.
Talk to us anytime — we're always happy to help.
Guided by ethical choices and community care, our practices are designed to leave the world in a better place while offering families meaningful options that honour both their loved ones and the planet.
