    Ashes home by hand

    We deliver the ashes to your door and register the death. The certificate is sent to you by Births, Deaths and Marriages.

The figure above uses the Bunurong or Springvale fee ($1,110). At Fawkner, Altona or Lilydale ($1,065) the total is $5,338.

Questions families ask us

Where do you serve?

Greater Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. We come to you, whether your person is at home, in hospital, in a hospice or in aged care. If they have died somewhere else, call us anyway.

Someone close to me is dying. Can we arrange this now?

Yes. We can prepare everything in advance, so one phone call is all that’s needed when the time comes. There’s no cost to do this.

How quickly does everything happen?

We usually bring your person into our care within hours of your call. The cremation is booked once the doctor’s certificate and paperwork are complete, and the ashes usually come home a few days later. We confirm each date with you.

Can anyone be present at the cremation?

No one attends an unattended cremation. If being there matters, you can add time together beforehand, the Moment of Farewell at the cemetery, or be present as the cremation begins.

Where does the cremation take place?

At the memorial park you choose: Bunurong, Springvale, Fawkner, Altona or Lilydale. The park’s fee is passed on at cost, and every cremation happens here in Victoria, close to home — never driven interstate.

Is the price really complete?

Yes. Our care, your chosen coffin and the park’s fee are itemised in writing before anything proceeds. There’s no after-hours surcharge, and nothing appears on your invoice that you haven’t agreed to.

What happens to jewellery and personal items?

We record them when your person comes into our care and follow your wishes: returned to you, or left with them.

Can we still hold a service or gathering later?

Yes, with no time limit. Hold it yourselves with our help, or let us run the whole day for you.
