Cumulus sits between Cirrus and Stratus — the middle of the three cloud-named chapels at Bunurong Memorial Park in Dandenong South, and often the easiest choice when you're not sure how many people will come. Rows of pale timber pews face a warm, eucalypt-lined wall, and softly frosted glazing along both sides fills the room with daylight while keeping it completely private. It seats up to 120 guests for a funeral or memorial service, with projection, microphones and live streaming built in, so anyone who can't travel can still be part of the day. And if the gathering grows, Cumulus can be opened into Stratus next door to welcome up to 350. A private cremation or graveside burial can follow within the same grounds.
